Wow, that's really clever! It's like you guys were talking right to him. I bet you got in his head so bad that he cried all over his national championship ring that night.

It's been a 3 season slump, that probably hasn't even been as bad as some people might think. In fact they probably got screwed out of the Tournament last year because the voters have a hard-on for mid majors lately.
And as far as Gary getting annoyed, he's had to play at places like duke for a long time now, so I really doubt something like "Sit down gary" got on his nerves. He was probably more pissed that the team wasn't playing well.
Enjoy your good run while it lasts.

Hopefully Duke will be good agian sooner before later....that team is really starting to get to me.
Both my teams, Duke and Syracuse suck this year.

I think Gary won his championship and just said "awww **** it"...
It's time for him to get serious, or get the hell out.
(side note: my brother is a bar-tender down in bethesda and sais Gary goes to some of the bars down there and seems like he's depressed... who knows)

How is Maryland not the Don John of the ACC? Ok I guess if you consider teams like Wake, they aren't. Let's just say they are MD/VA local shitter...

I've noticed that he and the team just don't seem as intense as they were a few years back. Maybe it's because most of the assistant coaches from the '00-'02 seasons left to become head coaches elsewhere or something, but i hope they rebound soon. I've only watched Maryland basketball (or any bball for that matter) for about 7 years but I will admit that it seems like the terps have taken a big slide over the past few seasons.
And don't get me wrong about the Hokies though, they should be proud of this season, especially those UNC wins.
