I mentioned this is the other thread. I think Addai was the MVP here. Rhodes a close second and Peyton came along for the ride.

We do support a D.C. area team so politics aren't a foreign subject to anyone on this board. Everyone knows CBS is a little left of center anyway. The game was great even if it was a bit sloppy! Happy for the Colts! Gmanc711 02-05-2007, 12:30 AM Good Game, Good Time had here. Congrats to the Colts, although I'm very jealous, but I'm glad Peyton/Dungy won the big one. Now the one thing that did piss me off tonight, and maybe i'm a woman for this but.... Wasn't some idiot supposed to drop crazy money to propose to his wife via super bowl commerical?? When did that happen? Daseal 02-05-2007, 12:41 AM Anti-American? Are you kidding me? Why would people wanting to get our men and women out of Iraq under constant fire and strife anti-American. The Republicans have done a great job in convincing people that if you are against the war in Iraq that you don't "support the troops" which is beyond bullshit. You can be against a war, but support the troops 100%, such as myself. Gmanc711 02-05-2007, 12:48 AM Anti-American? Are you kidding me? I hate the war and have since the start, but I am beyond every single soul over in Iraq right now and weather I agree with it or not I thank each one of them for sacraficing what they do. Hopefully apology is accepted and we can move on, but I agree. JWsleep 02-05-2007, 01:41 AM Congrats to the colts--to think, they won it with defense, running, and the short pass! I thought one of the RBs should have been MVP, but that was one of those deals where it was for Peyton's career as much as for this game. How long until the draft? ;) GTripp0012 02-05-2007, 01:50 AM I realize I'm beating a dead horse here. Regardless... To think that Peyton Manning won the SB game by attacking the cover 2 in the same manner that Mark Brunell was doing this season for us... Sometimes good quarterbacking is taking what the defense gives you, as easy as it may seem. Alvin#40 02-05-2007, 02:09 AM I realize I'm beating a dead horse here. Regardless... It was raining though...cough cough Alvin#40 02-05-2007, 02:10 AM and they rushed 42 times for buck 91!!!...Two TOTALLY diff senarioes. GTripp0012 02-05-2007, 02:13 AM It was raining though...cough coughIt's true and I'm sure that played a factor in his decision making, but even so did you see how much room Addai had to make plays? That's just patience at its best. |
