Young in Pro Bowl - Nashville, Tennessee - Saturday, 02/03/07 - Tennessean.com (http://tennessean.com/apps/pbcs.dll/article?AID=/20070203/SPORTS01/702030366/1027)

He had a good year, but he certainly doesn't deserve to go over Chad Pennington, who in my opinion was the main difference between the 4-12 2005 team and the 10-6 2006 team.

Chad Pennington 313/485 64.5% 3352 yards 6.9 yards/att 17 TDs 16 INTs

Vince Young 184/357 51.5% 2199 yards 6.2 yards/att 12 TD 13 INTs

The probowl selection process is becoming laughable.

If the rules were not designed so that you can't touch a QB without being flagged Mathias Kiwanuka would have sacked Young in the Giants-Titans game, the Titans would have lost, and Vince would not be going to the Pro Bowl. More than any other play, that play made Vince Young.

i disagree I think Vince Young made a huge difference once he started. Granted I agree Pennington deserved it more I think Vince Young was a huge reason that Titans had a decent season and that warrants consideration if not a spot.

The Pro Bowl is definitely laughable regardless of this particular issue, but don't discount Vince Young's comeback victories. When you add 130 more attempts to his stats he projects to 3000 yards passing, TD's jump up to 16 and INT's 17. To me it's not such a travesty.

Certainly Pennington is the guy, but I doubt he would want to participate. It's just one more chance to get hurt.

I mean come one.....that Romosexual guy plays NOT SHITTY for half a season after warming the bench and HE GOT IN! BS! The HOF selections and Pro Bowl selections are officially retarded and void. Im so mad that I'll probably never give a flying F about either of those JOKE FESTS ever AGAIN!

130 attempts for Vince Young amounts to almost half a season. The guy threw for 200+ yards a total of 4 times all season. He's a playmaker and looked really, really good for a rookie, but he's not Pro Bowl material....yet. I don't think it's a travesty, but it's hard to swallow that a QB with more INTs than TDs, barely more than 2,000 yards, and a completion percentage just above 50% is making the Pro Bowl.
