redsk1 02-01-2007, 03:44 PM I apologize in advance for opening the door to a thread about the FO letting Ryan Clark go but...
Ryan Clark was at Redskins Park last week and was on Redskins lunch for about a minute. Anyone know why he was there? Did he forget his last paycheck or something? He is still employed by the Steelers, so he's not allowed to speak to other teams, right? Kind of interesting though.
TheMalcolmConnection 02-01-2007, 03:52 PM I think he was just dropping by, I wouldn't look a whole lot into it. However, I would be SO for the Skins signing him if he's released. I don't care if people call him mediocre, blah blah blah, you could get him for a decent contract and have some great safety play back there. If anything, he could cover.
ArtMonkDrillz 02-01-2007, 03:55 PM He was in the area because he was helping Kris Jenkins pick out the paints for his new house.
j/k

Agreed. As mediocre as people have labeled him, he did alright for us last year and ST needs a friend to assist him in his....uh....decapitations that I missed so much from last year! Bring him back for a reasonable amount, alternate Springs at safety now and then and....oops....wasnt this supposed to be how we DONT want him back? lol....

HAHHA....Redskins lunch, eh? Everyone, especially Clark knows that JG makes a mean PB&J at lunch time.....hehehehehe
Daseal 02-01-2007, 05:31 PM If you look at all of the 'star' safeties in the league, they have a guy at the other position that does all the dirty work. Ryan Clark did our dirty work and let Taylor shine as an athlete.

To say AA doesn't do any of the dirty work is just not fair, I am sure Snyder has him out at Redskin park with a leaf blower, and makes him detail his car on saturday's.

Hahahah...Thats great. As much as I'd LOVE to see AA doing some "Dirty" work, Id much rather just not see him at all until he's gained 65 lbs and been moved to LB.
I agree with Daseal in that Clark did what needed to be done but at the same time, let ST look like a coverage/run stopping mass murderer in football gear.
That Guy 02-01-2007, 07:59 PM he still has friends here, so he might just be visiting. I don't know if he still has a house here, but you never know. I would have been much happier with his "mediocre" play at 1mill/year than archuleta's "so good i can only cover punt return" play at 6mill/year.
