While you and I share very similar political views Matty, I was with Senor Dick on this one. I think it was just a shitty question to be asking someone.

I think we've shown recently we can have political discussion without it getting too hairy. I'd like to work that back into the forums if we can. We'll keep a close eye on it.

Yeah maybe the question was a bit harsh, but it's just funny to see someone like him get called out. I don't have much pity for the guy myself.

Yeah, if we could have a multi-page discussion on religion without getting bent out of shape, we can do this.
While I do agree with the article that it's kind of a "pot calling the kettle black" kind of thing, you'd think it would put Cheney in a weird spot having to vote with his party lines while also having a daughter that's a homosexual.

Right. I mean he DID shoot someone in the face. While I didn't gain any respect for Cheney, I lost a little for Wolf.

Exactly.
It's all good until it hits these guys personally.
Hypocrites.

He did not vote for any of this and has taken a back seat to this issue. If you read the whole article he said that its goes with the job and he can handle the questions he just does not think they are appropriate.

As long as we don't sling baseless comments and insults at each other (like actual politicians) this might work. It will probably get really heated again come election time so we need to be very cautious.
I will say this though, it's a lot better without Shane involved. Sorry Shane
