Here's a scenario where a person may not be cheered up after looking at those pictures....
Hey, my daughter is a cheerleader at Louisville. I think I'll take a look at these pics to see if I've met this one before. Doo-dee-doo....{surfing the Internet, connecting to website where pictures are posted}.... Ah, here we go......HONEY! Get your coat we're going to Kentucky.

Ok let's give it a try, post counts have been removed but you can still see them in a user's profile.
then what is the point? if someone is looking and want to know why not just keep them under the avatar?

I don't know, I think it's going to take a little getting used to but I prefer it without the post count posted in plain view...
I know I always felt like I should be posting more when I noticed that I had been a member much longer than others who doubled or tripled my post count. I like to stay quiet unless I feel I have something useful to add, but not everyone feels likewise. I believe that not having a post count takes away from the mentality where some are tempted to post as often as possible in order to gain status on the board in lieu of building reputation through quality of posts.

Hooskins is 19 and he makes excellent points. I don't pay attention to age either. I just get to know each poster based on their opinions and respect them for that. I don't see why age would matter.
Besides, Pwned is WAAAY beyond his 14 years. Plus, have you ever been to LOLZ!!!1? There's some expensive real estate there.
Why thank you.
And for the suggestion, I personally liked the post count because it made me feel like I was a baller. But I also understand everyones concerns about it and I think it is a good thing to try out.

I'll just try again when you're in a good mood.
Maybe some Louisville cheerleader pics will cheer you up. ;)
Dude those pictures were freaking amazing. Totally made my day when I saw em.

I personally like displaying my age because most people doubt me, but when we actually have discussion it blows their mind a 19 year old knows alot about the Redskins.
I kinda like going with the dumb front (aka all my Parking Lot posts) and then utter PWNAGE in the Locker Room to catch people off guard. I am like that sorority girl that you dated because she lost a bet, and then she broke up with you after you bought her a gift....

Are you sure you're not the guy who dates the sorority girl who lost the bet, then broke up with her when she starts to fall for you?

I noticed the post counts are back. Did we decide it's not working?
