Well I know that the possibliity of Coughlin being fired from the Giants along with Acoursi retiring as GM may cause a lot of disruption to the Giants franchise, but if the replacement for Accoursi is who this article states our division just gets that much tougher.....

I thought the Pats already locked Pioli up with a new contract.
It would just the right time for the Giants to get him with Manning stumbling and Barber retiring.

My guess would be Pioli's contract allows him to leave if it were a promotion and becoming a GM with complete decision making would be considered a promotion over a player personnel which his current title is at New England.

I'm I the only one that hates Shawne Merriman's guts? Reporters voting for him even moreso? How the hell does a guy who is juicing up make it to not only the pro-bowl but be selected as an all-pro? This is total BS!
