MTK 01-04-2007, 01:03 PM No surprise, Brees tailed off a bit at the end and that killed his chances. wilsowilso 01-04-2007, 01:15 PM Did anyone read Peter King's argument that Brees should win the mvp over LT? It was silly. Hopefully people just start tuning him out. Anyhow LT should be the face of the NFL. He is the perfect running back. BigSKINBauer 01-04-2007, 01:16 PM 46 of the 50 number one votes were for lt. Not even close. djnemo65 01-04-2007, 01:20 PM We were lucky enough to witness one of the great seasons in NFL history. I'm hoping he adds another trophy to his collection by the end of the season. onlydarksets 01-04-2007, 02:02 PM It was incredible, but what's with the last sentence of the article? He joins Brown (1957 and '65), Simpson (1973) and Payton (1977) among brilliant running backs to take the honor. I don't disagree, but it's kind of an odd non-statistic to throw in there. mooby 01-04-2007, 02:23 PM We were lucky enough to witness one of the great seasons in NFL history. JoeRedskin 01-04-2007, 02:30 PM I would love a New Orleans, SD superbowl - lots of good stuff in that one. gibbs4life 01-04-2007, 03:25 PM man this is a shocker, just kidding tomlinson is the real deal.. i wouldn,t mind a SD vs NO superbowl. mike340 01-04-2007, 07:32 PM And to think that if they had handled their offseason properly, the first 2 votegetters would have been from SD. (In addition to the possible defensive player of the year.) I wouldn't mind if SD wins it, but I don't want Schottenheimer to win it after what he did to the Redskins. (Of course I can't have both...) I would love it if the Saints won. It would also make the Redskins' effort against them look that much better. |
