You wanna talk crazy trades (http://www.ananova.com/news/story/sm_2132981.html)

That's a legit trade...I'd be willing to give up the redskins franchise to the state of CA in exchange for Verizon Fios availability in my zip code. Fortunately, its not my decision to make.

Pounds, as in British money...they don't call it Dollars like in the USA, they call it pounds.

DOnt get me wrong here but dont other countries use pounds too? Couldent a romanian pound be different then a british pound?

I'm not sure all countries that use the pound, I know England, Scotland, and Ireland...most of the western continent now use the Euro.
I am pretty sure that a pound is a pound, there are no variations.

The only runningback with any trade value is Betts because his contract is manageable. Portis' contract will not allow him to be traded at this point in time. Plus, he is our best offensive player. Let him run in the offense that Campbell ran and you would see freakish numbers.

I think it is funny that Portis has a year where he gets hurt and he is all of a sudden an injury concern. Betts finally has a year where he stays healthy and he is the savior.

Any contract is moveable if the other party is willing. In a world where all draft picks can be traded for Ricky "I live for chronic" Williams, anything is possible.

Portis is constantly getting dinged up, but I think that's because he really has been our "savior" since he's been our lone bright spot on offense in terms of moving the ball. Give him a year with Campbell and a year of 15-20 attempts per game getting breathers from Betts, and we'll see a monster year from Portis...I am excited to see this offense next year.

Quick thing on monetary systems.. the words "dollar" or "pound" are really insignificant when speaking of terms of actual value. Obviously a Canadian dollar isn't worth the same as an American dollar, but they both use "dollars". The whole value to each country's currency is determined in the world market and based on each nation's economy. They are not units like the inch or the kilogram; they have no universally set value.

This has nothing to do with football does it...

Maybe I am not understanding you, but they do. Just ask traders.
Like I said the british pound to dollar equivelency is 1 to 1.9697...how is that not a set value?

From what I understand he only changed the pronounciation of his name from "theesman" to "thighsman", not changed his actual spelling.
Please provide proof of your thought that his name was spelt that way. If true, I'd really like to see it.

You're right, it's always been with two N's

It's not a set value as it ticks up or down fractionally all the time (every few seconds in fact). Currently the exchange rate is 1.9428 US$ to 1 GB£.

The Romanian currency is the Leu.

This must win the award for dullest reply!

The rate is now 1.9430 btw.
