That comes straight from the mouth of a Redskin who said it after shaking his head and rolling his eyes. They also all think it was Arch who blabbed to Friend.

Which Redskin was this?

I'm not too worried about OUR cap situation. I'm worried about our cap situation as compared with other teams. Since so many teams have so much cap room and we have so little, I fear that only unwanted/junk players will hit the market and other teams will have first crack at them since they have far more cap room to work with.

By the way Portis will be a correspondent for NFL Network's GameDay covering the Giants v. Eagles game. That should be entertaining

I listened to the first half on the way into work this morning. Can't say I disagree with much he has said so far.

If you have a problem, and management has announced an open-door policy, you need to speak up. If you still aren't comfortable, go to a team leader.

And, seriously, no captains? It's not a democracy.

I agree. I appreciate Portis for doing what he did. He's a true leader who shows that he really cares.

Now that I think about it.....I'd rather dump Lloyd and keep Arch. At least Arch hasn't alienated his teammates.

CP is not a leader at all. He's a derss up, party guy when they are winning and a whiner when losing. To me this is the whiner side coming out because things didnt go his way this year.

Personally I'd love to see CP traded for picks.

Your view doesn't surprise me at all. LOL.

I totally disagree. I think CP is our leader because he has the balls to step up and say something is wrong. Instead of these "anonymous" sources. At least he stepped up and put his name out there. Not only that but he gives 110% on the field. He's our best blocking back and our most reliable back (he doesn't fumble like Betts).

He's not whining, he's letting everyone know that whats going bothers him and he feels like he needs to say something.

The people who are coming out saying things as an anonymous source are the whiners IMO.

Did you actually listen to the interview? He wasn't whining at all, he was giving a state of the team interview.. He said time and time again, 'I do what they tell me to do'. He's lost more than he's won since he's been here and has been a standup guy the entire time. I don't get people who call him a whiner.

I'm guessing not. It didn't sound like whining, it sounded like somebody frustrated with a bunch of BS issues keeping this team from reaching its potential.

Joe handled the running game, Al the passing game, the offense isn't on the same page.

He'd rather train by himself and most players feel the same way.. Too many OTAs and that's why players lose focus during the offseason..

The locker room is fractured by the 'un-named sources' and people back talking and back stabbing..

Players don't stand up and speak their minds but are ready to throw others under the bus. A serious lack of accountability among the players.

Ryan Clark was the epitome of a 'Core Redskin' but he's gone. Portis begged the Redskins to keep Clark and Pierce.. He said he didn't have a problem with AA but had a problem with paying him more to do what Clark was already doing..

Lloyd alienated his advocates (Portis was his biggest fan) and had the team lose faith in him due to his attitude..

Some offensive players and coaches don't talk to each other.. Portis doesn't talk to Saunders..

There's clearly a rift between him and Saunders based on how he was being used (or under used in the passing game) when he was in the games.

Portis doesn't like the side to side running game that Saunders was calling when he was in there and he wants to run the same plays that Betts was running, downhill, after Portis was hurt.

Campbell was restricted in the games he was in but the talent is there to be great, he needs to be let loose..

Great stuff, it's about 30 minutes to listen to the whole thing but if you have the time it's a great insight into what's really going on inside Redskin Park.
I heard Campbell or a coach say that before a game that JC gets to decide which plays that he was not comfortable with and they would not put them in the game plan. All new QB's are restricted with waht they will let them try to do so thats nothing new.
