Redskins vs. NCAA

My college roomate swore on his mother's grave that the Miami Hurricanes Championship team could have beaten the bengals of that year. We would get in physical fights over the discussion when we started drinkin. His argument was that players like Mcgahee and sean taylor were better college players than many of the bengals current NFL players were. I disagreed, but it really is scary how many of the Miami starters went on and dominated in the NFL.

EVERYONE in the NFL is fast. The game is played at an entirely different speed. The best college teams still only have a handful of guys who are fast enough to get drafted into the NFL. There's a reason the option never shows up in the pro game. LBs and safeties are WAY too fast for it to work.

Take OSU. Yeah, I'd love to see Troy Smith read an NFL defense and try to attack it with his college offense, especially when trying to run the option. Put him up against any NFL team. Raiders? Asumughwawawawawa would pick him 9 times. Lions? Dre Bly. Cards? Adrian Wilson.

I'd love to see a college defensive line try to maul with any NFL offensive line, especially the really good ones.

See, all the above are good points. He keeps saying that a system can beat "physique" any day. Normally I'd agree with that, except in this case, it's so lopsided, the NFL would just destroy the college teams.

Total BS! Although, I would love to see OSU against an NFL (casually dismissing the Skins) team. What's one of the things you most often hear from rook's. They cannot believe how good EVERYBODY is???? Because on every college team they played against, they had to contend with one, maybe two guys as good as EVERY GUY in the NFL! No contest
