Yup, everyone always wants to give him crap, but he's been a GREAT guard for us over this year.
Eric Steinbach or Derrick Dockery?TheMalcolmConnection 12-29-2006, 12:37 PM Yup, everyone always wants to give him crap, but he's been a GREAT guard for us over this year. Jamaican'Skin 12-29-2006, 12:41 PM Keep the continuity of the Dirtbagz. We've only given up 18 sacks this season, and Ladell has looked like a star running thru those holes. In a season of pure disappointment, they have been one of the few bright spots on the team. Their continuity is imperative celts32 12-29-2006, 01:06 PM Steinbach might be a little better but we need cohesion...keep the line intact! Otherwise we have a half a season of growing pains waiting for the new line combination to gell. This is the perfect example of when the skins get to cute for their own good...instead of signing their own they always look to see if there is someone out there better. The line has been much better the past month or so and looks like it may have gelled...don't f-ck that up! dall-assblows 12-29-2006, 01:08 PM dock wants to be here anyways Schneed10 12-29-2006, 01:27 PM Team chemistry and cohesion are just as important as talent. Steinbach and Dockery aren't far off in talent in my view. Dock is the no brainer choice. This thread is borderline silly. dall-assblows 12-29-2006, 01:30 PM OH snap djnemo65 12-29-2006, 01:34 PM Hopefully we get Dockery locked up well before free agency starts. If that Post article from this week was accurate, that should be the case. I'll feel better once he is inked though. We've all seen too many players like Dockery - not stars, but important to the team nonetheless - walk over the years in favor of the latest and greatest free agent. Paintrain 12-29-2006, 01:41 PM Dock.. The offense is almost there, let's not mess with a good thing.. riggoraider 12-29-2006, 02:07 PM Being that Saunder's offensive schemes is supposed to be so tough and it took the O-line almost a complete season to gel, I think that re-signing Dockery should be an easy answer to this question Bill B 12-29-2006, 02:14 PM Being that Saunder's offensive schemes is supposed to be so tough and it took the O-line almost a complete season to gel, I think that re-signing Dockery should be an easy answer to this question Sounds like a resounding case for Dock. If we get him signed up the remaining offensive near term signings to worry about are Cooley and Sellers. Everyone else is locked up for a while although getting a backup for tackle and guard would be nice considering Wade will leave for starter money in the offseason. |
