This kid is turning out to be a real disappointment. According to Bram, here's what he said:
Asked if the team should find a way to being Shawn Springs back, Rogers paused and said “He’s a guy who is about to be paid a lot of money and only played a few games this year. If they restructure that would be great, if they don’t we’ll have to work in the new guy.”

At this point, Id rather have a gimpy old Springs than Carlos back there any day of the week. I know it doesn't read that bad, but I don't think teammates should do this, Spring has been a solid Redskin since coming here only suffering a setback this year.

If he really said that he is a fool. Stay away from any questions about other players contracts especially when you are an underperforming top ten draft pick.

I see nothing wrong with what he said

I do. He's talking about a respected established Redskin and how he needs to hit the pavement or restructure. What do you think the other vets will think about Carlos now? He should just shut up and thank God NIGHTLY that he can count his millions while being a draft bust.

While Carlos never should have said anything like that about a teammate, he's right. With the end of last season and most of this season, Springs has shown that he has trouble staying healthy. Therefore, we might have to consider our options with him.

I agree that he should have probably said "no comment" but he didn't actually call out SS. He did say it would be great if he restructured. I think we need to stop picking apart the things that these guys say like they are running for political office.
Sounds like he's just speaking the truth. It's no secret that if Springs comes back he'll have to restructure.

The way Carlos talks you would think that he was good or something wouldn't you?
He should be worrying about some "new guy" being "worked in" his position the way that he got toasted this year. He has nickle back written all over him

# 1 - You should keep your mouth shut in regards to other players business.
# 2 - What he said was pretty much right on. We can't afford to pay a guy top dollar for 10 games. Restructure or well sign a healthy CB to take your place.
