Who said that Rocky is starting? Do you have a link?

See J. LaConfora's Reskins Insider - Redskins Insider (http://blog.washingtonpost.com/redskinsinsider/)

He said yesterday that since Washington is out, Rocky might get to start. I don't know if he's saying Rocky would play strong side?

Rookie Linebacker Rocky Mac # 52 on the Redskins, our 1st round draft choice in 2006 that has yet to see the field in a start. He would replace Marshall or Holdman.

"Should Archuletta play on Defense on Sunday?"

But I don't care...thus the :D moniker.

He plays defense?

To help build JC's confidence, I think he should play defense...for the Rams.

I'd say the worst move was signing Jeff George and at the same time not giving Brad Johnson a new contract.

I can think of one better: The NY Giants MLB (I forget his name) we signed in early 2000's and never played a down. I think he came in the same FA class that OG Dave Foire who we signed from SF 49ers, who also played just a few plays of one game and retired due to a bad knee. Both in one year. Between the two of them we paid millions and they never played an entire game.

At least AA played some, although it was shit play.

But at the same time we probably wouldn't have found out about Pierce had Barrow played. Until that year Barrow was a NFL iron man, it was shit luck that he didn't play. Fiore had obvious injury concerns and was a risky pickup.

With our notoriously shaky history at QB, I really think screwing over Johnson was a huge mistake. He could have been a very solid QB for us for many years.

Very true.
I still think Deion was worse for the simple fact that he was a cancer to our team and showed that we would pay any amount for washed up players. That started the "fantasy football" revolution for Snyder...thankfully that is over...sort of.

Deion is actually a great team player. Whenever his ex-teammates talk about him they always have great things to say about him. In Tim Green's book "The Dark Side of The Game" he had a whole chapter on Deion and how great of a teammate he really is, all the stuff on the field, the neon Deion primetime stuff, is just an act.

Yeah, but then we wouldn't have had the pleasure of living through the Jeff George era, let alone the Tony Banks Dynasty.

AA has not played in the defensive rotation in the last six games. I see no particular reason why he should be playing in Sunday's game. The fact he's going against his former team is not reason enough to play him when he hasn't been productive. He'll probably see his normal duties on ST's.
