We know that Arch is deep deep deep in the G-dub doghouse for some reason but do you think he will get a few defensive snaps this week since we are playing in his old stomping grounds in St. Louis? I hope the Post or Times will do a Arch article this weekend so we know what's really going on with him being locked to the bench.
Are you serious when you say, "for some reason"...?

Shuler was a bust, plain and simple. Every team has had their share.
But knowingly bringing in a coach killer like George and basically thumbing your nose to a guy who took your team to the playoffs just the year before was a horrible mistake.
Very true.
I still think Deion was worse for the simple fact that he was a cancer to our team and showed that we would pay any amount for washed up players. That started the "fantasy football" revolution for Snyder...thankfully that is over...sort of.

Yes, he was definitely worse than Holdman or Marshall. Our secondary with him in there was a joke. It's one thing if you're not a great cover guy at LB, it's another thing entirely when you are a safety.
Looks like Rocky will get his first NFL start this Sunday. I'm anxious to see what he can do. Seems like # 52 is always around the ball on special teams.......another ball game starting on the outside! Good Luck ROCKY!!!!

Rookie Linebacker Rocky Mac # 52 on the Redskins, our 1st round draft choice in 2006 that has yet to see the field in a start. He would replace Marshall or Holdman.

I'm guessing jsarno knows who Rocky McIntosh is. I'm pretty sure he meant that, being a thread about AA, a post about Rocky is off topic. Not so much "off topic", perhaps, as "out of left field".

I was responding to the comments made. That's why I quoted them. I'm also sure he knew who Rocky is. Can we get off this now?
Who said that Rocky is starting? Do you have a link?

Deion was a bad signing due to the $ he got, but he was still a very good corner at the time, better than any we have now. He just wasn't the prime time of old who teams were scared of. When they saw Bailey on the other side, teams figured the %s were better at picking on Deion. That D was pretty good though, we just lost games w/turnovers.

oh yeah, to get back on topic - I'd agree w/Matty that Jeff G was the worst signing, and at this point I'd have to say AA 2nd. Both could be top 10 all time worst FA signings in all of sports. AA's contract is relatively more than Jon Koncack got years ago from the Atl Hawks.
