Or even better, declare him senile and off the air? I mean here is his take on a field goal that hits the upright in the Chiefs and Chargers game. WTF?

You get the inside do'ink, you get the outside do'ink and if you get the inside do'ink you get 3 points.

I've heard him ask Al Michaels "Ever carve a pumpkin?" Al responds, "All the time."

He is better than 95% of the dopes calling games. At least he has a personality. Annoying at times, yes, but most of the former players are just horrendous.

I love ole Madden. I miss him calling games with Pat Summerall though, those were the days. His rambling comments are classic, just wish that some of those idiot analyst on FOX would stop trying to emulate him all the time.

Yeah, let's vote out the best football announcer in history. Why don't we put Sam Huff in the booth. That would be great.

Believe it or not, he actually entertains the audience.

The guy knows so much about football that he could lose 99% of the audience with one sentence. Guess what, that wouldn't make a good broadcast.

The guy is the #1 ambassador of the NFL and he is the voice of the glory days.

When I think of Madden, I think of January playoff victories in RFK. I guess you guys would rather hear Larry Michael or Aikman.
