Yes; to their 53 man roster.
But not to their practice squad, right? I can't imagine a player would want to make a lateral move like that, although I guess it's possible if they thought it more likely they would get moved up to the roster on a different team.

The guy looks like a hulk but looks don't mean much if you can't play.
with 4.41 40 speed and all that strenght, you wonder what he couldn't do... I mean, he should've at least been a special teams marvel.... right? you just run real fast and knock the hell outta somebody... give me some crack and I'd be a hall of fame ST'er...

They knew this could happen...if was not on the 53 man roster by now then he probably was not all that close to being in their future plans.

The writing seemed to be on the wall back in August
"He's not where we want him," Lindsey said. "Robert turned out to be a good special teams players last year, and if you're a backup linebacker here we expect you to be good in that area. But we expect him to rise this year when he's playing middle linebacker. And right now, I don't see him where we want him, and I'm not taking the blame for that."

That's pretty damning - the coach calling you out and saying you aren't getting it done. If he doesn't have the chops, he doesn't have the chops. However, I still don't get why we wouldn't keep him as a ST specialist. It's not like we don't have any of those.

He's only "good" because he's no longer a Redskin. Every player who leaves is always glorified for some stupid reason. On the one hand, he's a waste of a pick that we drafted. On the other hand, he's a football god because he's an ex-Redskin.
Oh and welcome to the board goose

Not to practice squad. That's why I said 53 man roster. ;)
