I think Synder and Gibbs will. We did trade up to get him and Gibbs knows rookies need time. I think next year he will be good, Brunell just needs to guide him in the right direction.

GTripp0012 12-11-2006, 06:29 PM Note that in Manning's first season he completed only 56% of his passes (Campbell currently completing 52%) and threw more INT's than TD's (Campbell currently 6 TD's / 5 INT's). Campbell has attempted 122 passes in 4 games, Manning attempted 575 in 17 games. Based on Jason's current rate of atts/cmps/TD's/INT's, if he played a full 17 game season at the current pace, his line would be: 268 comp / 519 att / 3010yd/ 25 TD / 21 INT Now ask yourself if you could live with those numbers from a first year QB?Really, he just needs to get his completion % up. If he does that, the yards/attempt will come up with it. Know when it's smart to take the shot downfield, but just because it's 1 v 1 doesn't mean you have to make the low percentage pass. It may be the best throw, but JC should still be reading the field. JWsleep 12-11-2006, 06:31 PM Is this like AA? (Not our worthless used-to be safety, now punt block guy, but Alcholics Anonymous? (sp)) Do we have to apologize or hug anyone? My name is JWSleep, and I've been depressed about the skins for months now... ;) Lady Brave 12-11-2006, 08:14 PM Everybody: "Hi JWsleep" :grouphug: irish 12-12-2006, 10:57 AM I have a hard time with #7 as Gibbs et al have done nothing to gain my trust that they can evaluate personell and make correct decision in that area. I agree with teh other 6. hesscl34 12-12-2006, 11:11 AM I have a hard time with #7 as Gibbs et al have done nothing to gain my trust that they can evaluate personell and make correct decision in that area. I agree with teh other 6. Too bad you missed the Superbowl years. You would have more faith if you could remember them. skinsfan69 12-12-2006, 12:13 PM There have been a lot of posts about the Redskins sucking. I came up with seven simple steps that if followed, will help Redskin fans to deal our current situation. Follow these simple steps and the remainder of the season won't seem that bad. Seven Steps to Redskin Renewal 1. Admit that the 2006 Washington Redskins will not make the playoffs. 2. Admit that the 2006 Washington Redskins are not that good. 3. Admit that the 2006 Washington Redskin organization has not put the team in the best position to win football games. 4. Accept that for the remainder of the season, the 2006 Washington Redskins are in a rebuilding mode. 5. Accept that for the remainder of the season, the fans should expect improvement, not necessarily wins. 6. Accept that for the remainder of the season, Jason Campbell at times will look like a rookie. 7. Trust that Joe Gibbs and his staff will access the team's strengths and weaknesses and adjust in the offseason accordingly. I simpy don't trust Gibbs anymore. skinsfan69 12-12-2006, 12:18 PM Too bad you missed the Superbowl years. You would have more faith if you could remember them. I remember those years very well. But back then he wasn't making the personel moves. You can also give Ritchie Petibone some credit too. W/out Ritchie does Gibbs wins 3 SB's ??? ArtMonkDrillz 12-12-2006, 12:21 PM I simpy don't trust Gibbs anymore. Yeah, it's hard to trust him when he's contradicted himself so many times since he's been back. They made a guy like AA the highest paid player in league history at his position but he can't even crack the 3rd string and we're supposed to have faith that they can accurately evaluate anyone? That might be too big a leap of faith for me at this point. skinsfan69 12-12-2006, 12:23 PM Yeah, it's hard to trust him when he's contradicted himself so many times since he's been back.
