The skins are inexperienced? I can understand Campbell with only 4 nfl starts,

but as a whole we are the oldest team in the NFL (by average age), and have many years of experience on our coaching staff.

I don't think we have enough talent on the defensive side of the ball.
Gregg Williams didn't realize the gems we had in Ryan Clark (starting on PIT) Omar Stoutmire (starting on NO and doing very well) and Walt Harris (racking up all sorts of stats). These three players have more interceptions than our entire defense and combined have a salary 1/3 of archuletas.

GW thought it was all his system.....

I agree with this. It hurts to see the very players we need doing well elsewhere after we let them go.

There is some "inexperience" becuase Saunders system is complex and new to the team--that's growing pains, and it will come, IMO.

As for the D, only Golston is new out there now, and he's one of our better players. I'd actually like us to get MORE inexperienced on D--it is definetly ROCKY TIME!

I don't see JC being able to handle the pressure. Sorry, but he's too inexperienced just yet to handle the Saints. And they are going to tear our Secondary to shreds.... WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!! :(

.. it was so much more fun when we didn't suck!

Pressure is JCs middle name, he'll do fine.

I'll go on the record and say JC will have his best game so far, and the Skins will upset N'Awlins.

To the people saying the skins suck....I have to disagree, betts, randle el, and Campbell all had really good days and the only true reason we lost this game was 2 int's bad calls by saunders in the redzone (passing) and that shitty secondary. If campbell and Betts continue to have days where they almost break 200 yards understand that once he gets some experience this team is going to stomp on people like the colts do (minus yesterdays dismal performance) now that being said....Im willing to bet that next week against the saints will be all Joe gibbs calls and Call me crazy but this is a team thats tired of getting their ass beat. 4 quarters of football they need to match the saints point for point please DONT GO 4-12.

It's great to stay positive. Campbell has a lot to learn, and hopefully he'll learn it in the next 3 games so he can be ready for 2007. I don't fully agree in the inexperience theory. We have a lot of older players and very very few young players. However, the Saunders playbook does take "a year to learn", and Campbell is wet behind the ears. Those two do make a difference. Our horrible D is a huge factor. This has to be fixed by 2007 or we will not go anywhere again.
4-12 is fine by me. The higher the draft pick the better. Who cares if we win out and go 7-9???? It won't mean a playoff spot or anything good for us, so let's get some rookie draft picks that will make an impact for us.

I like optimism and I agree we should have won but I wouldn't necessarily call the int's bad calls for Al S's.

We could win at NO. I hope we do. Not likely though. Did you see what happened in Dallas. How did we do in Dallas and what's our record? Love the optimism but let's look at this objectively. We are playing better and we are experiencing the growing pains of a new NFL qb.
