I agree, I think he'll eventually become a #1 corner. He's physical, he's fast, he's smart.

All the calls for his head probably are ignorant. A large number of fans were judging the guy (playing fantastic as of late) who was put in a terrible situation. I haven't broken his play down, if I had more time I would love too, but generally speaking you can't call a guy terrible because he doesn't shut down the teams #1 receiver in a terrible defense.

Albeit, he may not be a #1 corner now, but nevertheless he's got the potential. If your looking to the draft to make the defense better, then a cb as a first rounder may not be the best bet.

I would probably draft a stud cover-safety to back-up sean taylor. I don't know how good the safties are in the up-coming draft, but I'd love to be enlightened if anyone has a good idea.

Needless to say, we need DB depth. It's killed us the past two years, and we better learn our lesson.

#1 CBs can catch. Carlos can't. He has one pick all year (which nearly bounced right off his numbers) and has dropped six.

What i think will happen come draft day:
we will be sitting pretty high and most likely we will have a chance at Dewayne Jarrett and Calvin Johnson, New England needs a good reciever and im sure would be willing to part with there two first round picks for our top 5 most likely, we could then use there two picks on Laron Landry and Buster Davis, a stud at safety and a stud at LB, would solve two problems

That would be great. However, New England is doing fine with what they have (10-4). I could never see them trading away two first rounders to get a big name, when they have shown they can produce without. It's just not their style.

Darrel Green couldn't catch very well.

prime time was a great kick returner, but i thought he was a total jackass and joke as a cornerback/safety.
how do the skins have a first round oick this year?were'nt they all traded away?

I can't stand deion but in his day he was a shut down corner. Maybe the best of all time. He was past his prime when he came to the skins (go figure).

to early to be really specific. I hope we trade down for more picks but thats probably not gonna happen. if we make any trades it will giving up about 3 '08 picks for one pick in '07. If we wind up staying the way we are right now though i think we should just take the best defensive player available regardless of his position. Drafting for one specific need is not always the way to go. especially in the first round.
