So, after six pages, who is the better back, Betts or Portis?
Mike Vick, according to the stats.

That's so ironic, because that's who I thought you were talking about all the time. jsarno 12-12-2006, 04:56 AM We here can talk about anything. See Question 3 I know, that's what I like about this site. rubx002 12-12-2006, 05:30 AM Hell no....Portis is the man!!! firstdown 12-12-2006, 10:34 AM They are different stle backs and it would not be fair to compare htem but i think Portis is better. Betts probaby should have broken so larger runs then he did today that I will argue Portis ould have made. Betts is still a greta 2nd tho. That is assuming that Portis would have hit those same holes as Betts has done. He is really making quick dicisions and hitting the holes very fast. It's not that tough when the line creates holes you could drive an 18-wheeler through, like they did on Sunday. I like the stats, but what is your point? I think we all know he has not produced those all-world numbers he produced in Denver. But he's been no slouch. onlydarksets 12-12-2006, 02:16 PM Yards per carry isn't an isolated stat like 40 times. It depends on so many other factors (blocking, QB, passing game, defense even). jsarno 12-12-2006, 02:18 PM Yards per carry isn't an isolated stat like 40 times.
