It's Friday Night ...

It's Friday Night 5:00 Happy Hour HOWEVER...

My wife and kid are away for the weekend. B/c my wife did not make a run to the flooring store (that would have taken 1/2 an hour) and pick up the vinyl I was going to install, I have to spend two-three hours going to home depot, renting truck, getting materials for project no.2, hauling them inside so they will be there for me to work tomorrow and I will have something to do when my assistant shows up. (all of which I intended to do Monday when I hadn't already worked a full week or even a full day b/c I have the day off). The alternative is to be at home depot at 6:00 a.m. tomorrow morning as that is about the only way I can guarrantee that they will have a truck I can use.

Just venting a bit...

Anybody else stuck with a shitty friday night?

when you get to be our age, usually every friday night is pretty uneventful

Uneventful would have been fine. Woulda love to stay home, pop in a movie, order a pizza and drink some beer. <sigh>

Friday nights were for wives, but Saturday nights were for girlfriends.

Got my Wisdom Teeth pulled thi smorning how you think im feeling right about now?

I got to the bar to celebrate a friend's birthday only to hear another friend's DUI tale within about 5 minutes of getting there. Needless to say I had one drink and then laughed at how sloppy everyone else got while I drank soda for the next 2 1/2 hours.
Oh well.

I had two today, so it killed my Friday and I have one on Monday. After that I have another Thursday morning. So I basically am living in the library until Thursday afternoon, after which point I will be severly intoxicated.
