Looks Like we're Pushing for Ladell

the washpost said a signing bonus of 6-7mil, about what I figured we'd have to pay to keep him from shopping

i'd love to keep ladell. let's face it, rbs just don't last long and we need all the quality depth we can get. ladell could likely start for most of the 32 nfl teams (i know he is now).

Hell, Betts is the best receiver we got this year!!!! I do believe he leads the team in reception and if not its pretty close!

I hope he resigns as well. He is a good solid backup that can step up when needed.

Probably. Doesn't it seem like all players overachieve in contract years?

Ladell is good. He needs to work on protecting the ball and blocking, though.

I just realized that Betts has a decent shot at reaching 1000 yards rushing this season. He'll need 357 yards over the last 4 games, or an average of 89.25 yards.

I really hope Betts does sign. We need him for depth. He's no Portis though.

As for Duckett. I think it was a great move considering Portis was hurt. He was insurance, only. But I sure would like to see more of him out there the rest of this season!Well, if we were 8-3 when we had to IR Portis, the move to get Duckett would look like the move of the century. Of course if we were 8-3, I doubt we would have IRed Portis.

Signing Betts would be a great sign. Next they need to lock Taylor down.
