After reading this article, I really want to believe that some of his quotes were taken out of context. You be the judge.
Gibbs Says Lloyd Will Play Sunday - washingtonpost.com (http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2006/12/06/AR2006120601542.html)

How about saying this. " I can't do that again. I really hurt the team and I will never take my helmet off and throw it ever again." LLoyd is really starting to get on my nerves. It just shows a total lack of respect. If I were Gibbs I would sit his ass down next week. You don't see Cooley, ARE, Thrash or Moss doing that crap do you?

Honestly,
I dont mind it. The only part that bothers me about it is that it might give the wrong message to Jason Campbell. I'm frustrated as hell with this season, shouldnt Lloydd be too? Shouldnt all these guys be? I like a guy with a little bit of fire behind him.

Nothing wrong with some fire, but you can't be showing up your teammates. Lloyd says that wasn't his intention but still, it was obviously enough of an issue to have Gibbs concerned.

Wow, the Skins definitely need to make Lloyd a captain, just kidding. I'm really bothered by the fact that he said "anything can happen," in regards to whether this incident could repeat itself in the future, and that he's going to "do his best" not to let it happen again. I'm pretty sure that all players try their best not to let that happen, it's part of being a professional. He's already done it once and I agree with skinsfan69 in that he "can't" do it again. If he throws his helmet or explodes on the sideline one more time, he's definitely going to fall even farther out of favor with the coaches, the players, and the fans. If he was producing, then maybe it wouldn't be as bad, but well, he's not.
In addition, if Gibbs is so concerned about having "character guys" on his team, then why did he sign Lloyd in the first place? According to the article he was disliked in SF and the Redskin players knew about it. Did the coaches just decide to ignore this information and sign a TO junior to our team, what gives?

I don't care at all. The entire team should be mad. They go out there and show no emotion and when someone does everyone is on his ass. I can't say I would not have done the same thing.

Cares about what is the question.
The guy has shown to be selfish in the past, we'd better really hope he doesn't pout his way outta here like he did in SF.

I started laughing when I read this:
I have an attitude that's really good for a winning team. It is," said Lloyd, whose teams are 10-31 in the 41 games he has started in the NFL, and have never finished at or above .500
All the Rexi bashers may have their tail between their legs on this one. We'll see what the future has in store...

Overall, not overly concerned except for his comments about Rattay. He seemed, unless I'm mistaken, to openly admit that he quit on the Niners when they traded Rattay.
I mean we're talking about Tim Rattay and he's going to get all worked up over that? He should be focused on building a winning team with the guys who are out there with him, not pining for Rattay. Tim Rattay? Seriously?
