No experience...I don't think it's a good idea. He SHOULD be an Offensive Coordinator or even QB coach to start out with...then work his way up.
If he was interested in the Rice or Temple job, jumping right in as the big cheese with no experience would be OK, but NOT at a school where you'll be strung up onthe goalpost for not winning a National Championship every year.

I agree - I don't see what basis he has for considering himself a serious candidate for that job.

. This is a bad idea. He had probably the worst mechanics for a qb in the entire history of football.
