Am I insane or does Cooley seem to be dropping more passes this year than he catches? I've heard so much shit about how good he is, but week after week he keeps dropping easy catches. This guy has got to get his act together. He is so good at getting open, if he could just learn how to catch then he would be a very dangerous weapon.

I'm not enamored with the Gates, Shockey, and Crumpler group who gets all of their yards split out wide and never blocks on passing downs (and are usually shitty run blockers). Cooley does it all.

Not sure if he is the best but you have to say he gives his all every week and lays his body on the line for the team. Sure the dropped passes hurt but if every player had his attitude we would be a lot better off and he catches enough and makes enough big plays to change games.

Cooley has had a rough season, but who hasn't on the Skins this year He's dropped some balls, but he's also had some huge plays. If I was in charge I would try to sign Cooley and Sean Taylor for that matter, to long term contracts when this season is over. They're both great young players, fan favorites, and are home grown talents. We cannot afford to lose either one. I think they are two of the most important of a core group of guys that the skins need to keep together, unlike they have done in years past. If we don't lock them down soon, they could end up maturing into superstars and try to go somewhere for top dollar, especially if we keep losing.

CC has dropped more than usual, I made the same comment in the game thread yesterday. That being said it's just a microcosm of our season.

I think a lot of the team is trying too hard to make something happen out of desperation. Cooley has started to turn and run before he even has control of the ball, and often times that's when he drops it. He's just thinking too fast and trying too hard. This team really needs to regroup and I hope the off-season will bring them all back together again.

I think cooley is a terrible blocker...
He is not in the same class as Gates or Gonzales.
Cooley is just this teams version of Jamie Asher.

That's a good thing. TO plays for Dallas.
