This is the first time I've had to disagree with you Matty. (Your anger is coming out in your posts.) The two of you will have to agree to AGREE. I think if you review your posts (your's and BigC's) you'll find you're both saying the same thing: if one just saw the game and knew nothing of the "history" going in, Jason Campbell is definitely a possible selection as the goat. But if one factors in that it is his third start, he shouldn't be. You are just differing on whether one was supposed to factor this in for the poll or not.

(While you were horrified, adjusting for the fact that Springs was out, I thought the defense did reasonably well for much of the game. Even though Vick was completing passes, I felt the pass defense was just a hair off most of the time instead of just looking silly as they did earlier in the season.)

I'm not angry at all, believe me I don't get that upset over something I can't control.

I'm just amazed that people can watch a D give up 250 yards on the ground yet point the finger at other areas as being more problematic.

I guess some choose to take the poll question very literally and want to analyze the performances soley on that day, which is fine but seems a little narrow minded to me. I chose to keep the big picture in mind as I made my choice.

I agree with what you're saying that we can't expect Campbell to be a star all of a sudden and he needs some time.

However, the language was highly inappropriate. So...First warning. Say anything even remotely like this again, you're done.

Hands down -- defense.

We should have been able to win after getting up by 2 TDs. However, the offense did fall off rather quickly -- our only points came early in the game.

...maybe if he was in his 4th year like Tony Homo is you people could expect bigger things from the guy...

LOL. Isn't JC in his third year? Does one year make that much difference?

Second year, isn't it?

Yeah. And he's obviously in his first year in this system.

Second season. Fifth season in a row with a new offense. And while Campbell made a few bad plays, I think the second pick would have been a touchdown if Betts had made any kind of attempt to chip the blitzing linebacker(which Portis does better than anyone), to keep Campbell from getting blasted at the point on release. However, my goat of the week would have to be the coaching staff. Why, when you've racked up 80+ rushing yards in the first quarter, basically abandon the run in the second half. They went from 90% runs to less than 50%, when they were still ahead, and every back on the roster was running all over them.

My bad guys. I guess Romo has 2 more years than JC, and that would be significant -- especially since he didn't learn a new offense this year. :(

Vick could have run on every play and gotten 10+ yards if he wanted to.....that's a problem. He didn't need to, but if the game was closer at the end, I couldve seen him scramblling more often, tearing us a new A$$HO*E.
