After reading what all the "Gibbs Must Go" sayers had to say, it's nice to see someone here has the ability to make a rational decision. I agree wholeheartedly with this thread because obviously you have taken the time to think things through. I will agree there needs to be some changes made in areas of the team, but I don't think the whole team including the coaching staff needs to be blown up because we're going through a trying season. What amazes me the most is, the very same people who complain all the time about changes, are the very same people who, everytime we lose a game (or two) immediately start talking about change, firing, getting rid of, and this one, or that one has to go. Sometime form reading some of this stuff makes me wonder if some of us are really Redskin fans, or imposters.

Funny how after every loss someone wants someone fired or cut.

Relax, stop with the knee-jerk overreactions.

I agree.

By Saunders' second season with every team he's coached, the offense was a fine tuned machine. This season is lost, but don't make wholesale changes for the sake of change. Can we allow young Jason Campbell to keep a coordinator for more than one season? That hasn't happened for him since high school. I always felt that the biggest reason Arrington never realized his full potential was a new defensive coordinator virtually every season he was on the Redskins. Let's try to give this group more stability.

Give him credit for that. Jason needs to learn when to check it down. Most young QBs struggle with that concept.

It was a mistake to hire him and would be even a bigger mistake to fire him.

It's funny how the thread that makes the most sense gets the fewest posts.

LOL talking sense isn't very fun I guess.

It's more fun to toss out ridiculous and off the wall takes than to think realistic.

Just shows the true mentality of some around here I guess.

Mr. Gibbs needs to do some serious evaluating before next season and he needs to change something because he hasn't been getting it done, but I definetly agree..we need to keep Joe, Greg, and Al. If we keep Al there's no reason our offense shouldn't improve greatly and it's certain we will be focused on improving our Defense. Nonetheless, i'm tired of being patient and the whole "there's always next year" mentality, damnit.

There are definitely some players on the roster that it wouldn't hurt the team to cut. However, we should really be focusing on depth. We did what turned out to be a great job backing up CP at running back. We need to get a decent backup for JC, along with some help for the O-line and secondary. Ideally we would do the latter two through the draft, but...
