you are so cool
i don't think you understand how to be a "diehard" fan. having blind faith in your team doesn't equate to being a die hard fan. cheering them when they are 4-8 doesn't equate to being a die hard fan.
demanding playoff appearances (more than 2 per 14 years), accountability, and being realistic is being a much better fan than you so-called "die-hard" fans. i should know. i am right here in the heart of "steeler-country". trust me, they could have jesus himself running the team. if they are 4-8, they are calling for his head!

why is it that alot of us have resorted to name calling if another redskins fan disagrees with what we are saying? is this how losers act? all of us here want the skins to succeed, and there are reasons none of us are running the team. lets leave the football to football people

Im not jumping off this bandwagon...Joe Gibbs is an excellent coach....3 rings with 3 different QB's....and Im gonna say this a grip load of times, Joe Gibbs didn't just come to the skins and we started winning, He had like 3 losing seasons! JUST GIVE HIM A BREAK OK!?...Steve Spurrier couldn't do much a better job...we were on the verge of finishing 2-14 under him.....
i hate to break it to you, but steve spurrier went 7-9 and 5-11 with MUCH MUCH MUCH less talent...
im not sure what to think about this statement?
Don't even bother.
Hey mason, we all agreed to disagree and let this thread die, your cooperation would be greatly appreciated.

Blind faith is a redundant phrase. All faith is blind, considering faith is based on the beliefs of things unseen. With a man who has been more than successful coaching in this league and has championships to prove it, and can go to another sport and put together a championship team there as well, it's really not so strange why people would be patient with Gibbs. Oh, and don't give me the same tired "the game has changed since he coached in the 80's"....nothing has dramatically changed so much that a coaching mind like Joe Gibbs can't adjust to. If anything that has changed is been the attitudes of the players. It's became too much of a "me" type of game...nobody has loyality or patience to stick it out with one team anymore. In my opinion, it is tougher for guys like Gibbs to coach up good teams....NOT because of the game, but because of the players.
if you don't think the game has changed at all since the '80's, then you must be blind yourself!
enough already
