Okay, so Gibbs has a bad season his first year back in the NFL. Realistically, we should have expected him to have a bad 1st year. Then, Gibbs guides us to our first playoff berth in 6 years. I don't think anyone can complain about that. Finally, Gibbs has a bad year in 2006. So, now people are ready to junk him and go back to the pre-Gibbs II era? No thanks, I'll take my chances with a Gibbs.

I feel sick.

Can we all at least agree on one thing that we should have to see at FedEx ever again. I'm talking about The Funky Four. I couldn't be more sick of them, especially in games that we're trailing. And the worst part is that the majority of their old ass routine is just a FedEx commercial on the big screens anymore. I really hate them.
I hope I'm not the only one.

While I'm terribly dissappointed in this season, I don't really lay everything that happened at Joe Gibbs feet. I truly believe that this team will be ten times better next year. For one Gibbs is not a loser, and you can see that this season has really bothered him. And he desperatlely wants to prove all of the na-sayers wrong. I think that there were many factors that contributed to this sorry ass season.

1.Mark Brunells sorry play
2.Joe Gibbs waiting to long to pull Burnell
3.Injury to CP
4.Injury to SS
5.Who would have thought AA would be that bad
6.GW's defense not playing like they are capable of
7.Joe Gibbs handing over the play calling
8.Too light of a off season and preseason

However I think that Gibbs is pissed and you will definetly see a different approach next year. With better results.

He needs to punch Al Saunders (just my opinion).

Aren't they about the same age, that would be an interesting match!

I bet Gibbs would fight his guts out.

Too bad Gibbs is a praying man, not a fighting man....

Hess,

If Gibbs has an issue with Al Saunders play calling wouldn't you think he would take over the offense and put Al on the shelf?

I don't see Gibbs letting the season go in the tank by sticking with Saunders. But........ Gibbs is loyal to his guys.

And look at what coaches in New Orleans and the NY Jets have done in 1 year. Look at what Nolan has done in SF in 2 years. All of them started with less talent than Gibbs.

Ok you tell me, what exactly have the coaches in NO, NY, and SF done that's so great?

As for talent I disagree. Spurrier left this team in shambles. When Gibbs arrived there were 2 legitimate NFL players on this team - Coles and Bailey - and both wanted out.
