I reset the poll to 0 so there's no way there's multiple people under the no category that shouldn't be, there's only 2 no votes up there right now.

AMD I'll change yours, now 3 no votes.

Thanks.

I'm not trying to be an ass about this. I feel like 12th in that I am on the fence but I lean more towards the "no faith" side of the arguement.
I love Gibbs and I'll always be grateful for what he was able to do for this franchise, but I'm just so sick of losing. Last season was great fun, but I really feel like we were very lucky to have had the success that we did and I think this year just proves it.

We're in such a sticky situation right now and it really sucks. We all want consistancy for the future, but how long to we wait around? What happens if we finish 9-7 or worse next season, all while looking similiar to this season (in terms of penalties, lack of halftime adjustments, giving up big plays etc.), do we give Gibbs another chance in '08?
At the same time, if it's true that Saunders system takes at least a season to master next year could be great. We'll probably come in under ther radar again, Portis will be healthy, and hopefully the defense will get their heads out of their collectives asses and start playing like they used to.

So I guess that even though I don't have a ton of faith that next season will be much better I'd rather see the staff stay the way it is and pray that I'm wrong about them. Like everyone else here, I just want to see the Skins win.

Gibbs won't go down losing. He will find a way. Last year we all thought the man was God when we won 6 straight, now you all are screaming for his head. He will find a way to make this team win. Then he'll be God again.....

When's the last time the Cardinals were one game away from the NFC Championship? We were there just last year.
I agree with you on your Gibbs points and I think the guy who called us the Arizona Cards of the East is overexaggerating. But I just want to point out to be fair that 25% of NFL teams get within a game of the Conference Championship every year. 25% of the NFC gets within a game of the NFC championship every year.

So while I think Gibbs should be commened for the job he did with the offense and turning the season around last year, but getting within one game of the conference championship isnt THAT great of an accomplishment.

There is a way -- but I don't know it. I voted on the original wording, and all was well. Then, I saw that you changed it, and I was going to vote again -- on the home page it showed the Yes/No radio buttons. But, I clicked to read the new posts and when I started reading the thread, I noticed that I was registered for a "no" vote.

Maybe I did something wrong, maybe my browser is quirky, maybe it was the matrix. I don't care anyways -- I like to look at the results and see that the overwhelming majority voted yes, even though the no's had some help. :)

Hess, I'm not screaming for Gibbs' head...and I'm not sure anyone else here is either, Paul included. I think there is a level of frustration with the current situation.

We've clearly taken steps back this year. Whoever or whatever the reason, we've taken some steps back this year.

I'm not sure that Gibbs can turn this around the way he wants with two years remaining. I'm just not that confident about it. And because I'm not that confident about it doesn't mean I'm flip-flopping or not loyal or all these other accusations that tend to fly around when someone mentions Gibbs in a negative light.

If he finds a way, I'm in his corner 100%. I'll be in his corner 100% next year when the season starts.

I'm going to be an a$$hole for a second: didn't you also have faith that we'd make the playoffs this season?

Last year I was screaming that I knew we would make the playoffs and I was brilliant. Like I'm the only one that thought the same this year?? Please. We all were screaming Superbowl. And I am VERY dissapointed. But that doesn't mean I don't think we can still win, becuase we can. Growing pains this year.... :(
