I do not think he is "wordy" at all. What he is saying makes perfect sense, IMO. I feel simplfying it anymore with easier words would work agaisnt his position that everything we hear is too similar.

You really didn't think he was wordy?

He reminds me of some of my old college professors. He makes some great points, but after a while he was going in circles a bit. If he didn't have a time limit he would have gone on for hours.

I think there is a difference between going around in circles and being wordy. I do agree that he could have gotten to the point quicker, but I think just because he did not use "easier" words makes him wordy. Being wordy, IMO, kind of has arrogent/negative light on it.

I think his whole point is politics and civic issues are over simplified. Using smaller words would just continue to do exactly what he feels is killing society.
