Greetings Friends.

Long-time lurker, finally decided to register.
So...I was able to get season tickets this year, and I've been to every game save one. But...we usually barely make it their in the nick of time due to poor planning. (workin on that!)
Now I'm hoping someone can write up a brief guide or something on how to take full advantage of going to the game.

Some things I would love to get information on: Any way to meet players to get autographs (before or after the game)? Any chance to meet opposing team's players? Any fan activities pre/post-game? Any further tip & tricks for getting to the stadium (as of now we've settled for the metro...I live in fairfax, va). I'm sure I've forgotten a few things, so feel free to add anything you would deem "must see!".

Any and all info would be greatly appreciated.

PS: As far as meeting opposing team's players go, this week's game has extra significance because I would really like to get some VTech memoribilia signed by Vick (cousin's birthday). Thanks again!

If you want to get the real experience, the first thing I WOULDN'T do is take the metro. Get a parking pass and set up and tailgate. It's some of the best tailgating in the NFL. If anything, the cash lots have pretty decent tailgating themselves.

After the game, go to the player's exit and stand closer to their car lot because most of them stop by there. It's hard to get a chance to see other team's players (why would you want to anyway :D), but they exit a little further down and usually come in buses.

What are the chances of running into players before the game?

Also...I have upper level seats. Am I allowed to move down (lower level) during warm-ups?

And usually I woulnt't really want anything to do with the opposing team, but I would really like to get my cousin something signed by Vick =P

I highly doubt you'll get anything signed from the opposing team. If you want to go down on the field during warm-ups, just walk around until you find a cool security guard to let you down there. Some of them are jackasses and won't even let you go a few rows down to take pictures. A lot of times, find one who is busy and just walk down there like you know what you're doing. I haven't seen them sign anything before the game at all, so I'd wait until afterwards.

Full experience=Get there early light a grill and pop open a beer.

Not sure if autographs are possible but if they are it would probably be more likely after the game where the players exit the stadium...

Whoaw...you mean the actual field? like on the grass?

And thanks a lot for the rest of the info. Appreciate it.

I'll reiterate what these 2 have said...the ultimate experience involves arriving when the parking lots open (if not earlier), tailgate, make your way into the game at kickoff, and afterwards, either tailgate some more or join the autograph hounds at the Player Entrance.

To reiterate what BDBohnzie reiterated is: Get to the game several hours early(I like around three hours before game) find a good parking spot (I like the closes Red lot on Arena Drive and backing right up to the road) now you can fire up the grill pop open a beer and watch all the people coming and going. You will now be right in the thick of thing and only have about a 10min. walk to the stadium. If you arrive 3 to 3 1/2 hour before the game its a straight shot in with very little traffic. After the game we fire the grill back up and wait for the traffic to slow.

I have to say this as well about the Red Lots. The Green Lots have vastly better tailgating but getting out afterwards is a pain in the ass sometimes. The Red Lots have much better access getting out.

arrive 4 to 5 hours before game time and have a tailgate
