Here are some periods that I wasn't planning on using today. You can have them if your supply has run out.
Just kidding!

No. Gibbs made it pretty clear that Brunnell was the guy. I am not sure where I read it, but the consensus seemed to be that the team thought it was ready for a SB run. As such, Gibbs was going to go with his experienced QB to get them there and, remember, Brunnell was the QB when they made their playoff run last year. I am sure Gibbs thought Brunnell was the one to turn around the offensive woes again this year and only went to Campbell after becoming convinced Brunnell wasn't getting it done (two years ago, we went through the same thing before he put in Ramsey).
In fairness to Gibbs the whole offense stunk Brunell's first year and Brunell was playing hurt.
As for this season, no coach in the NFL would have went with Campbell to start the year in a new offense having never played. Brunell had a very good year last year. It's no coincidence that the offense went in the tank at the end of the season after his knee got hurt in the Giants game.
While I thought Gibbs should have switched sooner, the timing seems to be good to me. the team as a whole is coming around. I would have hated to see Campbell loose his first several games and damage his confidence.
This season is important, but the next ten are more important.
There was no way Campbell would have been ready to play week 1. Brunell grumbled about having to learn a pretty extensive new offense, I can't imagine tossing all that on a 2nd year guy and expecting him to carry the load right off the bat.

Nothing like arguing the same things over, and over, and over.
Is this an original take or a copy and paste of an article?? If it's a copy and paste please post a link.
Come on Mk, 3rd hasn't been around long. With a little luck we can rehash, the currently hashed, and multihashed jackassery a couple of dozen more times.

he is the head coach he needs to grow some balls he chewed the team after all those losses he should have nipped it in the butt
This is some kinky stuff. First grow balls. Then chew on the team (parts and players unspecified.) Finally, nip something in the butt. (OK, so my toddlers do this to my wife.)
Please keep the posts clean so I can read them in the office.
Thanks. ;-)

This is ironic on so many levels. Never mind that many others have said pretty much exactly what jason 72 did. What's ironic is you thanking someone for not saying all sorts of dumb sh*t and calmly stating your view when you've done stuff like namecall Gibbs (and even members here) and wish that he collapses becauses of his diabetes (or whatever it was he said).
I'm thinking we should change your username to 3 IQ SOLDIER....who's with me?
It's all love :)
