enough with the pro bowl crap. you don't need to say that any time anyone mentions sean taylor. he's had a bad year and one game doesn't change that. it's annoying.

well, I don't agree. I think he's a better year than most of the other Redskins!! In fact, I think he's had the best year out of ALL of them!

That man DESERVES the prow-bowl team. He should have made it this year and last year and as far as I'm concerned the year before!!!!!! He is a beast, and the ONLY reason he isn't there is politics. I have NEVER seen a football player like him before and I doubt I ever will again. The man is awesome and the BEST thing about him is that he just does what he does and he doesn't ask or look for the media to make him into a beast - BECUASE he doesn't have to. ACTIONS speak louder than words!

I said this in another thread. I think a lot of the voters will look at some things you can't quantify when considering ST. First of all, NFC D. Player of the Week will help...and to date, he is the team's leading tackler.

But here's the real point I'm trying to make here, I'm willing to bet, and I don't have a stat on this...but I'm willing to bet Sean Taylor has more forced fumbles this year than any safety in either conferance. Also, consider both the Dallas game and Carolina, he single handedly changed the game in the waning minutes, albeit with some help.

His on field presence can't always be captured with stats, and as far as him having a horrible year, well you never know, the voters may chalk that up to the defensive struggles as a whole and not indicative of Taylor's play as an individual. They have certainly done it with Vick year after year and some others.

Let's just wait over the next 5 games and watch this unfold.

taylor SHOULD have gone last year. cooley too (and NOT as a FB). This year, taylor would have to really step it up and cooley would have to continue his current pace to get there.
