What is the deal? Has she wrote anything about the Redskins yet this year? Not that many people would argue with her this year, but none the less it is entertainment reading and discussing her articles.

the fact that the majority of Redskins hated her articles might have prompted her or her editor to give her other assignments

She probably is now writing about the demise and unraveling of the NY Football Giants....

I think you're on to something, there. Did anybody seriously think that drivel was actually decent writing?

I actually saw an article she wrote the week before Washington played Indianapolis. It was about the tremendous career accomplishments of... Marvin Harrison.

John Belushi used to say about comedy that "Women have no place in the business."

That's how I feel about sportswriting. They don't belong. And I am not the only one. Watch a women ask Gibbs a question and look at he disdain in his eyes. He often cuts them off mid-question. He shot down Kelli Johnson from CSN yesterday for calling him the C.E.O. of the Redskins. You can see they irritate the shit out of him. In the 80s he took some heat for trying to bar lady reporters from the locker room.

Mr. Cooke also had the proper view of "professional women". He habitually referred to Sally Quinn of the WaPo as "Mrs. Bradley" which would send her into fits of apoplexy. Broads. Ha!
