Of course they are trying to beat the hellatious traffic. With the ravens having a game and all the thanksgiving traffic I'm sure it might have taken some people that did stay 3 hours to get home to some parts of Loudon County.
Of course they are trying to leave early.... BUT.... I am in the upper deck and that walk down after a win is a very exciting thing, and I never want it to end... Everyone is screaming, cheering, high fiving and hugging It's a beautiful thing.... And as long as the walk is I never want to reach the bottom. Hey I have a 1.5 hr drive but It was 2 Sunday WTF I just listened to the post-game show and was very glad I didnt miss the last 6 mins, they were very exciting... IT almost killed me but was great.

LOL I was telling everyone ... IF they get this ball back one more time I am gonna have the BIG ONE ELIZABETH.... ANY ONE KNOW THE NUMBER TO 911....

Hail

i dont go often, but when i go, i stay for the entire game. with ticket prices the way they are, why leave?
Your not too far from me and I always have an extra ticket.... Next year I will have 4 for sale all year... We are moving down to Dream Seats or Maybe Club Box.... but keeping our 4 Upper deck seats for friends....

I agree with you, I dont think I'd leave early either but until Sunday the Skins have never given any indication they could comeback and win a game this season.

I learned my lesson about leaving early...11/10/96. Skins/Cards. Skins were up 34-27. Buddy of mine and I decide, victory is in hand with like 2 minutes left, we'll head for the Metro to beat the crowds. So, since we're both sporting walkmen, it's cool...we can listen to the final seconds on our way to the train. Big mistake. Esaison throws a TD pass with 20 seconds left to tie the game, then after both kickers missed in OT, Kevin Butler hits the game winner with 33 seconds left in OT. By that time, my buddy and I had made our way to the Stadium Armory station, took the train back to New Carrollton, hopped in the car, and were past College Park when the game finally ended.

Ever since then, I won't leave a Skins game early. No matter the score.

I need more clarification on the phrase "leave early"? Is this meant to suggest that a fan attends the game and, before the final outcome is determined, disembodies himself from the stadium? The concept is so alien to me I have a hard time imagining the possibility of this actually occurring.

But hadn't 2 of their previous 3 wins this season been last second comebacks?

I dont know that the Dallas game was as much of a comeback as it was a dallas f-up.

I guarantee that had MB been the QB even more people would have left because he just never seemed like he could pull out a win this season.

Anybody at the game see all those idiots leaving the stadium after the Campbell int? What a bunch of tools.... Stick it out till the end... I mean if they were down by 28 points with 6 mins left ok maybe, but it was only 3 points...we were yelling at them askin them "where ya all going".... Well the poor idiots missed a great comeback.... Glad I didnt miss it....

let them go cause when the time comes when we start winning i hope they don,t come back...they missed it we didn,t aka the diehard fan(s).
just tell that the bandwagon will run out of room by the time they come back.

a bunch of bagonwagon jumpers is all they are.

Point being though it came down to the wire and we won.

I was in the last row of the upper deck on 50-yard line, and we were shocked by the number of people leaving. From there you could see people heading for the exits by the dozens. If we were down by like 2 TD's I could see it, but come on now, there was tons of time left in the game and our D was playing great.
