I agree about Wright. I like him.

Sean Taylor is a god, god, god!!!! I love watching the Skins play just so I can see who he hits next. Simply unbelievable.

May be pointless, ignorant, etc...

But could 8-8 get us in this year?

Look at the match-ups... It almost seems like the NFC is THAT bad. Not losing any sleep over it, but hell, if theres going to be a year to make a comeback, the NFC is certainly not our foe at this point.

Who knows.

Regardless, this team is an extremely different one then several weeks ago, and anything could happen. I can't help but ge this little, itty bitty, atomic sized hope way in the back of my head. Win 2 more, and that hope may be in everyones face.

-I'll shut up for now. :)

still doubt it. our offense has had more bad weeks than good ones, and our defense has played well in exactly ONE game so far this season.Looking more at our remaining schedule and our statistical projection for the team in the 2nd half (which basically says that we've simply underachieved this year, and should be expected to slowly climb back towards our previously lofty mean espicially on defense over the next few weeks), I think it's more than probable that we beat a struggling Atlanta and a banged up Philadelphia team at home these next 2 weeks.

If we do what we should do, that puts us at 6-7 and having to play 2 difficult road games. So yeah, a playoff run is still unlikely. But all I'm saying is that 2 weeks from now, it's very possible that we could be playing better football than either the Rams or Saints.

I DON'T think we can do it without Clinton Portis, Jason Campbell still very much learning on the job, and next to no kicking game whatsoever. But unless you believe that the playoff teams will be NYG, DAL, CAR, NO, CHI and SEA (3 of those teams are struggling), if you start looking for darkhorses to get to the magic 9 win number, it's like Atlanta, Minnesota, and Washington.

So yeah, season is un-over now.

The problem with Atlanta is that they've lost 4 in a row.. and they will be VERY hungry to win next week. They will not give up.

The colder the better because even though they have the number 1 running attack in the NFL, Vick is noticibly more timid in cold weather. Runs less, throws quicker, etc.

We can't let up on D, but I forsee another dominating defensive performance.

I think Phili will be the tougher game of the two. Unless AJ Feely gets the start. That will just be funny.

if portis was healthy, i'd be more optimistic. he can make yards out of nothing. sellers can sorta do that, but our ground game is going to require amazing OL support to be any good.

I do think 9-7 gets the final wild card....

but I need to see alot more than just one win before I say we have any chance of getting back into things. However, I think Carolina (minus probably New Orleans) is the best team on our schedule...

If we get out of the homestand with 2 more wins...then I'll consider it, but one good game isnt changing my opinion.

If we win the rest of our games we would need....
Atlanta to lose once to us which we have to win for this scnario to work so this is all we need form them

St. Louis to lose 2 (Arizona depends if they show up to play, Chicago, Oakland, Washington again we need ot win to progress, then minesota)

San Fran lose 2(NO should lose, Green bay should be fun, Seatle never know, Arizona?, Denver should win i see atleast 2 losses here

Philly Lose 2 (carolina, US (this needs to be win for this to work at all), Giants should be able to beat them, Dallas will beat them, Atlanta)

Min Lose 2 (chicago, lions, jets, green bay, St. L, a lot of AFC they will lose 2)

Carolina Lose 2 (carolina has philly next week win win scnario, then Giants, pitty, atlanta,NO, Possible for them to lose 2)

Giants to lose 2 ( US theres one, Dallas thers another, Carolina w eknow how good giants D is doing, NO?, )

Point is we have to win the rest of our games ot have a chance but the chance isnt as far off as it seems as long as we do win the rest of our games, we hold a lot of our own fate in our hands and one of these teams can outrank us becuase there are 2 wildcard spots open. NO is the team i worry about the most but our team is hungry and hopefully feeling desperate.

I mean the NFC is looking like shit, so this year would be a year for a 9-7 team to get in.

I mean 8-8 teams have gone in from the NFC before. Wasn't it the Viks two years ago or something?
