Reasons to be positive?

Yesterday was the first time I was optomistic after a loss this season. Jason looked like a stud out there, as if he had been out there for a while. Im excited because the future is now, thats the biggest plus

At least that's what GW continues to say, but the thing of it is "we didn't draft him to play ST". If he can't play in their base defense after ten games into the season, then it would apear that's another judgement error on the talent evaluators of this team.

Jason Campbell is the best thing to happen for us this year.

Thats for sure but he may be the best thing to happen to this team in the last 5 or so years. Think of the QB carosel we have had in D.C. since Rypin. This guy could be a permanent fixture in D.C. for years to come. This is the guy who if he proves enough that you build around. I love how in every interview he does he looks so serious. You get the impression that he all business and he realizes his talent and now he wants to get in there and help this team win. It's a new season.

To reiterate what Matty said, the only positive from Sunday was Jason Campbell.

As for next season, we've got serious issues with the defense....aging players, overpaid players, holes at multiple positions, and questions about coaching. I am confident our offense will work itself out and I'm hopeful our defense will work itself out.

Honestly, I'm totally concerned with GW's schemes as a coach. The defense DOES have talent, so what's the problem?

It's all mental... the guys just don't care. You have to care to play good D. The Bucs wanted to win and they played like it.

Similar to Gibbs, I'm SO SICK of this egotistic bullshit from GW. The MAJORITY of other teams have their rookies come right in and take their lumps with the rest of them. Is he worried about their "fragile psyche"? I mean shit, if you get your feelings hurt, there's always dancing with the stars. They're FOOTBALL PLAYERS, if they come out and truly suck ass, THEN start to worry.
isnt this the same coach, when sean taylor was a rookie, that said he put him into positions to fail(get burnt)?

Yeah, honestly, I was like whatever, when we were kicking ass at the time, but NOW I'm like, PUT IN ROCKY.

What I wanna see the rest of the season is Rocky getting a start, and TJ starting so we can decide if we want him or Betts, we've seen what Betts can do. If this happens I'll be happy

1) the defense can't be worse
2) it's possible we finally have a real qb... still too early to tell.
3) the FO has finally... oh wait, damn!

at least there's some promise.
