we have a pick in rounds 1, 5, 6, and 7. not much to work with. if we trade down to the 21ish range, we'll be forced to trade down even further with the broncos and get our 3rd round pick back...

I think we should trade our #1 pick to possibly get a couple more picks in the second and third round. I also think that we should find a way to trade Carlos Rogers for a second round pick. He has been a bust so far. He plays way to far off of the receivers, and lacks the speed to cover the gap, and he can't catch a cold! I also think that Lemar MArshall isn't getting the job done at MLB, so what should we do there? However if we do go to the draft and pick a couple of quality rookies, we won't get to see them play for a whole year. Because of GW's system. Which I think is a load of Horse Shit. So it might be better to just trade all of our draft picks away for Free Agents, if we want to see any change next year. AUGH..............

D-line, defientely, O-line as well. And I do think we need an MLB one way or the other. Williams seems to like big, slow safties at every position (arch, Lamar). Time to get a real MLB. Oh, and welcome Rajmahal!

Thanks, glad to be here. From what i have seen so far, there's been no trolling and thats always a good thing.

Do we really lose our 1st round pick to denver even if we TRADE DOWN to the 20-30th pick range? I thought those picks would only be swapped if our original draft position was in that 20-30 range but since we will probably originally have a pick within the first 10 we can deal it without any consequence.

What's the story with our pick and Denver? I never heard the final details on that. We have to trade picks with them in certain situations. Anyone know the actual deal?

they get our 3rd round pick, however, if our picks in the 1st round are within the value of a 3rd round pick, they can be exchanged. therfore, i believe trading down late into the 1st round would allow them to use that option, even if it wasn't our natural draft position.

I feel like clements might cost us too much, possibility of drafting a CB in the middle rounds?

you won't find a starter, and would have a hard time finding a guaranteed first year #3 by the 5th round. we have no mid round picks right now. decent CBs are usually available in some form through the 3rd round though. this draft class is sorta weak at CB though, especially if you want pure speed. We might be able to get someone that late and let them sit around as a project player to groom for later though.
