Mark Brunell's completion record was tied today by the Texans' David Carr -- same record, same field, all in one season.

Mark didn't have the record books all to himself for very long.

Brunell still has the record, they're both tied now.

I didn't say he no longer held the record, I said he doesn't have the record all to himself now.

I care. According to the D.O.R.K. ratings from this website I consult for all of my opinions, reguardless of what my own eyes tell me...
David Carr is now a better QB than Dan Marino. Its true. IT must be. I have the stats to prove it.

You have to take into the account the barometric pressure, the area of a football field sectioned off into trapezoids, and the thickness of the morning dew over the opposing team's end zone. Plus, remember to take the weighted average of the Russian judge's two scores on the triple lutz.
But you didn't you ignorant slut. If you had you would clearly see that Marino's FUBU stats put him at an 8.97 rating while Carr is only at 8.83 ;)

I'm not trying to knock Brunell's accomplishment. But throwing 22 straight screen passes against the worst defense in the NFL is really not a big deal. Brunell is a class act but I'm soooooooooooo glad he's on the bench.
