Has any heard that they will play Rocky this week.
Gibbs was making some noise yesterday about some "changes" on D this week???? We'll see what that entails.

The coaching staff should have added Mcintosh to the line up in my opinion this past week also. I agree Holdman is not cutting it at LB.

i have always thought that they didn't really want rocky as much as they wanted d'qwell jackson. Jackson went one pick ahead of rocky and I have always thought that we were going for him.

I agree completely. I think our LB play is the worst. What really bothers me about the whole deal is that its no secret that everyone is going to run at AC and WH. Why isnt something being done to stop it? Its time to put macintosh in there and see if he can help stop the weakside run.

he might get caught out of position some, but he is what this defense sorely lacks, a playmaker. and besides, holdman might be in position most of the time, but he still doesnt make any tackles

holdman out of position? maybe he should be benched for that. well thats how they did lavar. whats good for one should be good for all. Bench Holdman.

This is a great question! But where is an entire D when you need it?

Last year our running defense was terrible until they put in Arrington. Teams know they can run straight at Holdman and make yards. It might benefit the defense to switch Daniels and Carter. Daniels is a little better against the run which might compensate some (but again, Daniels/Holdman was not much better last year).

I have heard that Holdman (and the others) isn't out of position often, they are just getting blocked on every play and when they aren't, they miss the tackles often. Even Washington isn't having a good year.

That said, Holman stinks. Williams is often too stubborn about playing rookies. Rocky should be playing.

last year he played rogers a lot once he was healthy & this year Golston has started a lot, so I don't think the rookie thing is most of it. I think that GW & Lindsey feel like they can't play anyone whose out of position because they did that to Lavar. Now they've got to back up their words, so if Rocky is really making mental errors they have to sit him. GW's probably being stubborn about guys learning the plays, but not about them being rookies.
