I read it. I dunno, I mean I have never met him personally, but I don't believe one meeting for 5 minutes would be enough to consider a guy an a-hole. Maybe he had a bad day, maybe he had alot on his mind or wasn't feeling good. But, even so, I'd probably not trash the guy on a public forum board over something like that.

I'm sorry to everybody that this is not addressed to. With that said, the rest of you quit grilling OUR Redskins for everything that is not going well in your own life. Especially Gibbs. If you want to start grilling, lets get Arch on the fire , and how about Carlos and Springs for weak upper body tackles. Oh, and yeah how about Brunell being confused as to what play to call because Sauders #437 page play call was not perfectly remembered.
This is my point and I'm done: we are 3-6, like it or leave it, we are much less than we expected, if this is the worst you've seen from the Redskins(historically) then go elsewhere. I'm here to stay FOREVER. Anybody right now who is second guessing Danny, Joe, Al, Gregg, Vinny or the all of the rest of us should pick and root for another team.

I dont get it, Im not allowed to be upset with the way things are going, and if I am, then Im not a real fan. And trust me I have doubted Vinny C since he got here, ask the fans in San Francisco if they want him back and you just might get punched. There have been people around the league who have mocked us for having Vinny running a very important part of this team, hes considered a joke around the rest of the NFL. I cant remember the last time I missed a Skins game, whether there playing terrible or there playing Great, I have and always will be a Redskins fan, but to say that "if your disappointed in the way things have gone, then your not a true fan" is rediculous
And as for Arch,Springs,Rogers and Taylor, whom you forgot to mention, yes they have had a very subpar year, but maybe it has something to do with Jerry Gray, are defensive backs were great until he took over as Dbacks coach, until this season we could plug in anyone back there and they would play great, thats not the case this season.

Forgive me not, but all I meant was do not bag on our past greats. We have a tradition that needs us to walk tall and with our heads up no matter what. The good years are the best, the bad years make us tougher and bring us us closer together. It is my priviledge to be a Redskin fan.

being a good corner and being mean-spirited towards people are not mutually exclusive traits. i'm sorry so many people insist on black and white classifications of things (if he's a good corner, then he must be good at everything he's ever done and never ever done anything wrong). and it's not like one 5 minute meeting, it's literally hundreds of encounters over a long period of time. you're welcome to ignore the facts if you wish, but that's pretty much the definition of being delusional.

What this thread was about is please do not trash or excrete on your family when we are not living up to the expected.

and please stop with the "we are family" bit, we've already have that discussion twice and you're the only person who seems to believe that. If someone here stole or assaulted someone, I wouldn't try to cover that up or start talking about how cool it is to ignore things just because i find them personally unpleasant.


DG was a great football player, he does a lot for charity, and sometimes he's even nice to people. that doesn't mean that he didn't prevent others from promoting their charities (even when they had NOTHING to do with him) or that a majority of meetings left fans unhappy. It's not either/or.
