Who got the better of the Portis/Bailey trade?

I was thinking about this today as Portis went on IR for the year. I believe Denver got the better half on this one. Didn't they get a 2nd rounder too? If anyone out there knows who this players is I'd like to know. For the life of me I still can not believe that Snyder did not pay this guy. I know Champ told the media he hated the constant change but somehow we should have kept this guy. As much as I like Portis, this is another move we should not have made. Great cover corners are just too hard to find and we are sure paying for it now.

Portis was our main man and we made it into the playoffs, without coverage issues.

I am so sick of this crappy debate. It has already come up a couple times. Yeah corners are hard to find, but Portis is young, Champ is old. Portis can directly affect the score. Period, we got the better deal. You all would agree last year, dont let one year blind your judgement.

Minus the fact that until Portis we had Trung Candidate as our main RB, and with the second round pick that Denver got I beleived they drafted Tatum Bell. And boy he has ben tearing it up hasnt he...

My point is I would rather have kept the draft pick and Champ. That's all. Plus we drafted Betts so that 2nd rounder could have been used on o-line or d-line depth.

This isnt a hit onto you. It doesnt have to do if you are a rookie or not. Its nothing personal, I got love for all skins fans. It's just this debate that kills me. It is all good and well to talk about defense, but you honestly never thought this was a problem the last couple years.

Our D was fine, with Smoot, Rogers, Springs. All the sudden it has struggled, and then this arguement comes up.

That is why I am sick of it. People are just looking for blame where there isnt any.
