Franchise a guy who Atlanta pushed out the door and has dressed for 3 games. Even our front office won't do that. Big C 11-14-2006, 10:10 PM i think duckett is a more valuable player in the way the offense is moving. with campbell in, betts wont catch the ball as much i think. duckett is a better change of pace because he can be used in short yardage. betts can also be used, but is nowhere near as effective. betts is also 2 years older than duckett and is injury prone, remember his early career with us all the injuries? id keep duckett, though i like betts GREENSTHEMAN 11-14-2006, 10:14 PM I say use Sellers as the lead blocker, Duckett as RB, and use Bettis as a change up. You can find guys like Duckett anywhere. where is this anywhere you speak of? decent big backs are hard to find with so much emphasis on 40 times. betts is like chester taylor or a bit worse than foster. both of our reserve backs are in the "good backup, serviceable starter." betts is more versatile in that he catches well, but he does give you many extra yards when the play isn't there. both portis and duckett can make those yards out of nothing more consistently.
