Mentioned he couldn't go down field and thus couldn't run his offense. This, personally, gave me an erection. But I get my kicks by kicking a guy who does nothing but fight his guts out. Honestly, I don't see how anyone can be so down on Saunders. Why are you blaming him when he was forced to use a QB who could not physically execute the throws? Anyone who played fantasy football knows that the Rams and Chiefs were phenomenal on offense. Saunders is an offensive genius and has an impeccable track record. Do the Saunders bashers just think that he forgot everything? In the beginning of the year several media outlets reported ex-Saunders players saying that the offense takes a full year for the players to learn. Now that the weakest link on the offense has been replaced I believe that there will be significant strides from the Tampa game to year end. We do not need another offensive system next year. We need to take our medicine and work on improving. Maybe we need to replace a part or two on the O-line. They are not going to be mistaken for the hogs any time soon. I think that the stars are aligning for a good year in 2007. I know that G Williams stock has taken a hit and hopefully he will stay. Our cap number should limit any major FA movement, our achilles heel has been benched, the offensive players will be more familiar with the system, & our schedule can't be any harder. Hey at least we know that Portis will not blow out a knee this year. We are going to get a sweet draft pick and expectations will be low and our players pride will be tested after this debacle. Low expectations, low turnover and stability = success in 2007 RiggoRules 11-15-2006, 12:59 AM You know who I think is the happiest about this change? GW. Why? The NFL is a 3rd down league. With #8's horrific, wimpy play on 3rd down, the D has been getting killed on field position and TOP -- all of which adds up to more opportunities for the D to get burned by a big play. wheeler 11-15-2006, 01:22 AM so Low expectations, low turnover and stability = success in 2007:nono: i'm not giving up yet.it makes me a little sick to think of next year.anything can happen ,falcons, vikings, rams have started skidding.if the redskins hadn't flat-lined against philly they would still be skiddin .dallas will get killed by indy....:oink: wheeler 11-15-2006, 01:30 AM Not to sound like a total ass, but who gives a crap who he hangs out with?? let's hope he doesn't hang out in the strip bars with the nba guys at three in the morning ,shooting off rounds in the parking lot and getting his face punched in.. |
