More than anything else, what I saw from JC in the preseason was poise.
.

Really, I saw interceptions.

Just last night, they were showing the clip from the Ravens/Skins scrimage. Interceptions - 2.

Debbie Downer returns. that was quick.

so tell me, with no.8, did you see a lot of touchdowns during the season? what did short completions and low INTs do for us?

I don't hate him, I'm just pissy because to me this means our season is over. Putting JC in now leaves us NO chance of getting into the playoffs and those of you that think differently are dreaming.

Really? Based on what? Female intuition?

Brunell gave us a 3-6 start. That's all we really know.

You're dreaming if you think Brunell was going to lead this team to the playoffs.

JC is physically the perfect prototype QB. 6'4ish 230lbs, runs a pretty damn fast 40 for his size. He's reminds me of a Donovan Mcnabb / Ben Roethlisberger hybrid.

The question never was "can he throw good passes". He's been known as one the most accurate passers in SEC history. I think PWNED had it right when he was talking about his fundamentals.

He looks like a QB... theres no weird Leftwich windup, he's not undersized, not immobile... The package deal. Physically it's all there.

The question will be how he makes decisions. Can he jump into the 700 page playbook in time? How fast can he find chemistry with the receivers? How well will our O-line protect him? Can he improvise when the play breaks down? Will he have a pocket prescence, or roll all over the place?

All of this will be fun as hell to watch, and god only knows the sky is the limit for this kid, and on the season we've got nothing to lose.
