This season?
I really don't see any benefit in going back to him. Unless Campbell is a complete flop or gets hurt, are there any other reasons why you think MB would be back this year?
I am pretty sure that Joe made left the possibility open during his press conference.

You are 100% correct. Let's say that Campbell is worse than any of us imagined. Brunell will make another appearance once his health improves.
where did you hear he was hurt? or are you talking about his arthritis?

You can tell he is hurt. I think he has been hurt the whole season.
I'm not so sure that he's hurt or if he's just 37 and fighting against a broken down body.

I dont see any benefit of going back to MB either. I dont even think JC has to be a flop, hurt, etc, for MB to come back. For whatever reason Gibbs likes MB (like OBC liked Weurful) and if JC stumbles I think Gibbs will have no problems going back. Remember last year when he told everyone PR was his man but the 1st time he stumbled in came MB. Gibbs likes MB.
I think JC gets at a minimum 2 games before Gibbs even considers bringing back MB.
No way MB comes back unless it's due to injury or Campbell being a total disaster.
Gibbs has made some questionable decisions but he's not completely nuts.
This season is in the tank. Time to move on in 2007 and figure out who's who? MB is not part of that "starting" equation

I wish I could agree with you.

Campbell has 7 starts to show that we can move forward with him. I think as long as he's not a disaster he'll be the starter next year. I hope and pray Campbell leaves nothing up for debate. I really hope he comes in and takes hold of the starting job and never looks back.
I agree. Plus, are we forgetting that Gibbs picked Campbell? So wouldn't it stand to reason he likes him as well?
