ArtMonkDrillz 11-13-2006, 04:59 PM Is anyone else really nervous that Campbell is going to come in and be really crappy, like Kyle Boller crappy? This isn't to say that I want Old Man Brunell out there anymore, because I really don't, but I'm starting to be very suspicious of most of the moves that the team has made the past few years in terms of player evaluation.
I'm worried that Gibbs might be wrong about Campbell, just like he was wrong about Brunell, and we'll have wasted so much time and effort on Campbell already.
Damn Redskins, they've scarred me for life.
Oh well, give'em hell Campbell!
jbcjr14 11-13-2006, 05:00 PM Now if I see JC Sucks threads next week I will officially shoot myself. It's going to be a long 7 weeks!!! Now is the time to stick with this team and see if the future has any promise!
Hail!
RedskinRat 11-13-2006, 05:00 PM Good for Jason. But let me ask this. A rookie QB, without Portis-am I the only one who thinks next week (the next few weeks in fact) will be a very scaled back basic offense with, yes, a lot of short passes?
Yes, you are, but we all know you're nuts.
Watch for the sexy long ball. Plenty, plenty TD's. We love it long time.
No more sucky, lots of f**ky!
skinsguy 11-13-2006, 05:01 PM He always says that....
.. I know I'm one of the ONLY ones on this board that likes MB, but I think he was a stand up guy and he was our only shot at improving this year. Oh well, if it's over it's over....
... Onto JC.
No reason to doubt the guy....You're not the only one who likes MB. I was big time on the Brunell bandwagon. I think he's a stand up guy, and I thank him for taking us as far as he could, but I am excited about seeing what Jason Campbell can do for us.
Pocket$ $traight 11-13-2006, 05:01 PM Who gives a sh@t. If they come out with the same effort we will be humiliated again.
Sheriff Gonna Getcha 11-13-2006, 05:02 PM Without Portis, with this D, and with this playcalling, I see Campbell having a bad outing in TB (180 yards, 1 TD, 3 INTs). Nonetheless, I'm happy.
RiggoRules 11-13-2006, 05:03 PM It's about freaking time.
And Hess, if #8 was our only chance this year, why did anyone even bother showing up?
While I certainly don't expect a miracle playoff run, I certainly expect improved production from the QB.

He might have talent, but so does the rest of the team - which apparently means nothing...

3rd ID SOLDIER 11-13-2006, 05:03 PM Should have been done 2 weeks ago but what can you do? brunell had his chances and I think that campbell can't do any worse than throwing to the checkdown at least he can scramble has a powerful arm and will not just throw to 2 receivers i.e cooley and moss . brandon lloyd can stretch the field as well as any receiver on our roster for once a receiver can be hit in stride it's just a damn shame portis wont be along for the ride I can pretty much guarantee we will also more of duckett!!!
