Which do you prefere?

I know what I am saying about your opinions that's for sure!

hey,you are the dumb silly sob that's got the stiffy for beathard, nobody else here does.what the hell does beathard have to do with the redskins this year anyhow?is that your masturbational fanasy or delight to have people praise him or something?crawl home, stick your head up your ass and pull it out in another 20 years okay?and look around before you speak,it will do wonders for you!

Look, Gibbs would be the first to agree tht things have been bad lately, and that this is his fault. He's said that over and over.

But he also says that the past buys you nothing. Maybe in the pre-cap era, with the Squires open wallet, BB built a good team. But Gibbs also coached three teams to SB wins, with 3 different QBs, and two different GMs. So they were both good. Who the f*** cares? What matters is how to fix our present problems. Should we fire Gibbs? My feeling is he's a good coach, even now (last years team went to the playoffs, no?) and that he has a talented staff. The team has played poorly, so perhaps the thing to do is get good coaches to fix it. Or we can start from scratch with someone else. I'm not convinved that's the solution, not yet. Let's see how Campbell looks and let's see what they can do in the remaining games to right the ship. Think back on the second Dallas game last year before we right off Gibbs and WIlliams, and think about the Jax game this year (with MB, no less) before we right off Saunders. Sometimes it is the correct move to fire the staff, even if it's the sainted JG. BUt it's not time for that yet. If Gibbs wants to play out his five year deal, I'm in favor of it. Maybe some are not. But it's not time yet.

i agree!he has 1 more year left, and he's earned the right to do just that.plus,if gibbs is canned, they're gonna suck another 3 years while they learn a new coach's system anyways!

Nice take.

I'd prefer to talk about the present rather than rehashing the past, some of which people have very skewed memories of.

In an attempt to add a positive here; the D played well after giving up those big plays. they kept us in the game by stuffing the eagles 3 st. times in our territory at the end of the half. the iggles padded their stats by running the ball to end the game, at which point our D had been on the field too long. If you paid attention to the D playcalling you'd have noticed that GW did bring a lot of pressure & it worked often. Look at mcnabb's completion % - was below 50%. I thought the D was on the verge of turning itself around, but they needed some help & didn't get it.
I'm confident the D is improving (albeit, they got burned a couple times), but not the O.

I agree somewhat, I didn't really see a ton of pressure later in the game, but I think they did a better job downfield, couple that with some really poor passes by McNabb.

I do agree with your assesment that the D is going to get better, Vincent is going to make a big difference down the road for whatever that is worth at this point.

As far as our defense being out on the field to long? WHAT ELSE IS NEW!

I would rather stick it up Gibbs A** so I could have a face to face conversation with you.

Yesterday our defense was out on the filed longer due to Sean Taylor missing tackles and adding two 15 yard penalties, as well as Carlos (The Ultimate Cushion" Rogers giving Stallworth plenty of room for quick grab off the line. Damn, Rogers pissed me off more yesterday than any other game. There were other breakdowns but those two players stick out the most in my mind.

Both of you guys should relax a bit and talk about Redskins football as an adult would instead of this other crap. How about one of you man-up and drop this juvenile slander (or is libel?).
